Each bicycle entered
into competition must have a number plate attached to the front of the
handlebars.
The upper edge of this
number plate may not extend above the crossbar safety pad on any handlebars
having
a crossbar. Number plates must be made of plastic or
other similar flexible material.
Before choosing a number
for your plate, numbers 1-50 are protected for the National Title holders and
are not
to be used unless you
have earnt that number. It is club
policy that riders do not choose a number already used
by another club member
unless it is a Nationals Title number. Please check with Janet Parker before
deciding
on a number and
purchasing numbered stickers from a bike shop. Sprocket numbers are determined
by BMXNZ.
Only Sprockets are given
a plate. All other riders must purchase
a plate from a bike shop that stocks the
correct coloured plates. If you require further assistance with
plates, please ask a Committee member, we
are only too happy to
help.
Riders must use the
plate and number colour combinations specified for the category in which they
are racing
